🐸 Basil The Hollow Hopper

🌿 Personality & Backstory:
Basil is the lively spark in the cozy circle—the traveler, the scribbler, the one with muddy boots and a half-packed bag at all times. He’s bright-eyed, full of ideas, and just a bit forgetful (he once lost a map, three buttons, and a shoe in a single day—and laughed about it).
He lives nowhere and everywhere: sometimes in a treehouse, sometimes under the porch of the village bakery, and once (briefly) in a tea tin. Basil collects moments, not things—pressed clovers, curious pebbles, and overheard bits of poetry are his treasures. He sends postcards to Olive and Thyme from just down the road.
Though he’s always moving, he carries deep love for his friends. He says adventure is best when there’s someone waiting at the end with a warm seat and a biscuit.

With boots unlaced and bag askew,
He follows where the wild wind blew.
He hums a tune he half forgot,
And sleeps beneath a flower pot.
He’s part surprise, part old refrain,
A sudden breeze, a hint of rain.
Where Basil goes, the stories find
A frog with roots not yet defined.
